“On My Own” … Samantha Barks. I’ve been absolutely giddy over the Eponine casting news for the new Les Misérables for this very reason. Sidenote: I listened to “I Dreamed A Dream” for the first time today (I know! I know.) and I cried the entire drive home from work. As a francophile, I’m familiar with Les Mis, but I’ve not had much exposure to the music even though I’ve had the soundtrack for ages. Oh my heart! So many FEELINGS! Dying to see it on the stage.
